David G. Lotufo, MD
Inspired
from a young age
“I
became interested in Ophthalmology at a young age as the son of a
sight impaired father. My father, experienced a rare eye
illness called Retinitis Pigmentosa and brought me along to his
Ophthalmologist where I observed eye examinations from a young age.
I was impressed with the technological tools used not only to
diagnose eye disease but the overall health of a patient.
Today, Ophthalmologists can do so much more for our patients than we
could in my father’s time. There has been a revolution in
technology with earlier diagnosis and treatment for a variety of eye
conditions that has benefited our patients. I am grateful to
bring my experience and knowledge to the care of Eye & Lasik Center
patients particularly in my area of specialty, glaucoma.”
