BROCKTON LIBRARY FOUNDATION NEXT MEETING

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025 and Tuesday, June 3, 2025 BLF (Brockton Library Foundation) will hold its regular meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. inside the Conference Room to the right across from the Lingos Auditorium at the Brockton Main Library. Anyone is welcome to attend and learn about all the proposed activities for 2025. The book store is looking for volunteers, please email the Foundation at brocktonlibraryfoundation@yahoo.com for more information. 

We are looking for donations of books to sell at our next book sale.

These BHS volunteershelped keep the book shop clean and organized throughout the school year. They were presented with certificates of apreciation with their instructor from Rich Duval, the BOOK SHOP coordinator.

Special Donation on August 25, 2023

The Endless Sky Foundation, Inc presents a donation of $500 to the Brockton Library Foundation again this year. Choung Ngo the President of the Endless Sky Foundation, Inc visited the main library for the presentation. Officers and executive board members were present for the acceptance of the donation. 

 This donation will help with Brockton Library Foundation, Inc's mission to assist with funding the Brockton Public Library’s programs and update equipment at various library locations in Brockton. The BLF has been extremely excited in helping to support many programs for the children in Brockton and helping to encourage reading to hundreds of children who use the library. 

 "Libraries contribute to each individual on a personal level and being able to support such a great organization is fulfilling", says Brenda Rodrigues, President of the Brockton Library Foundation, Inc. "Your support is greatly appreciated."

The Evening of Elegance Gala was a huge success! Much gratitude to our volunteers, we couldn't have done it without you! Between ticket sales, donations, and the auctions, we raised a total of $7,768.32 for library programs. It was a great night, soon to be an annual favorite! GIFT SHOP AT BROCKTON PUBLIC LIBRARY OPEN MORE DAYS

The Brockton Library Foundation Gift Shop, located at 304 Main Street inside the Brockton Main Library will be open starting Wednesday, Decmber 8th, the gift shop will start new hours.

Tuesdays 12:00 - 4:00 pm and 5:30 - 9:00 pm

Thursdays 12:00 - 4:00 pm

Saturdays 10:00 - 2:00 pm

.  Start your holiday shopping early or just come in and browse. All proceeds from sales benefit library programs for all ages.  More volunteers are needed so Richard Duval the new manager can keep it open more days during the week.
